I’m a planner. Each year, some time in November, I open a document on my laptop and list all the gifts I need to buy for the holiday season. And pretty soon after that I methodically check them all off.
But if you are not a planner, finding a thoughtful last-minute gift doesn’t have to be hard. Almost everyone likes going to the movies or watching TV, so these gifts are a slam-dunk for anyone on your list. And the bonus is that all of these gifts can be printed or emailed on the spot… if you really like to wait until the last minute!
I recently purchased a Moviepass and I think it’s a great deal. For $10 a month you can go to the movies as many times as you want. Simply go to your local theater, open the Moviepass app on your phone, and buy your ticket. So easy! Get a gift card here.
I am a super-fan of Netflix. No longer just a DVD rental service, Netflix is becoming a dominant form of home entertainment. With incredible original content like Stranger Things, Ozark, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Crown, and Orange is the New Black, I can’t think of anyone that wouldn’t appreciate a few months of free Netflix as a gift!
If you know someone who isn’t big on going out to the movies or binge-watching Netflix, but still enjoys renting a movie now and then, get them a gift code for Redbox. The kiosk-based movie and game rental hub is also an excellent last-minute gift idea for stocking-stuffers or Secret Santa because Redbox gift codes start as little as $5!
Pssst: You can enter to win a Redbox coupon code at my Stinger Entertainment Podcast Facebook page! Enter by 12/18.
Popcorn of the Month
If your giftee is going to be watching all that TV, they’ll need a snack. The Popcorn Factory has a Popcorn of the Month club with tons of unique flavors like Bacon Cheddar, S’mores, Pumpkin Spice, and Mesquite BBQ. Yummers.
So even if it’s December 25th, you can still choose a fantastic last-minute gift for any TV or movie enthusiast on your list! Happy Holidays!
