I love maps, and this one color-codes my travels. Make your own map here.
- Pink is for states I’ve driven through and maybe seen an attraction.
- Orange is for states I’ve slept in and seen some sights.
- Blue is for states I’ve visited at least twice and seen a fair amount.
- Green is for states I’ve spent a great deal of time in on multiple visits.
A Note About the Origins of This Site
The TV Traveler was originally “100 Routes Across America.” I have a goal to take road trips across America on portions of all the original United States Highways numbered 1 to 101. After traveling a portion of the Lincoln Highway, one of the earliest transcontinental roads, I became enamored with the history of these highways. I hope to travel them, learn their history, and share their stories with my children. Below I keep track of the roads I’ve traveled. For a list of articles I’ve written, click here.
